We had a blast here. We have done many escapes rooms prior to this one. This place is awesome. We did Naughty or Nice. The detail and the whole experience was above what we have experienced at other escape rooms. We had a group of 8 and everyone got involved. The area was so spacious. I highly recommend checking out this place. You will not be disappointed! We are already planning our next trip back!

Took my son and 6 other 17 year old boys to Great Scott for his birthday. We have been to a lot of escape rooms and found Serial Killer to be high on our list. The game moderator added so much fun to the experience! Highly recommend!!
The escape game we played was very well done! Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed it. Their general setup is really nice. They have a couple of arcade games, snacks, etc. Friendly employees, too.
Great Escape Room! We played "Who Killed Bugsy Marlowe?" and it was VERY well done. We played at the hardest level, barely escaped the room and did have to use more than a couple hints but it was so worth it. Theming is fantastic and our guide Melody was perfect! You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort into both the theming and the puzzles. Highly recommend!!! 😃
We are escape room veterans and came across this place while on vacation - and it was so well done!! We all loved the theming, and you could tell they really put a lot of effort into the details and storytelling aspects. Melody, our guide, was so enthusiastic and she did a fantastic job of keeping us immersed during the experience!!

We had so much fun during our first escape room experience. The Great Scott Escapes "naughty or nice" game was challenging but fun for our whole family. Ben was super hospitable and more than gracious with clues and assistance though our first escape room experience. Would definitely go back! Looking forward to figuring out who killed Bugsy!!
My family I and have done a lot escape rooms and these are by far some of the best we have done! The game Master was amazing she was funny and super helpful! I would highly recommend doing any of 3 rooms they have! Our favorite was the serial killer one!
Shout out to Ben and Liam for fantastic job. The escape room so fun but also not so difficult that it couldn’t be finished. Even though we didn’t finish, we had a wonderful time.
We had a great time! We hunted the Serial Killer, and we enjoyed the puzzles we had to work out. They were creative and everything in the room fit perfectly with the theme. We had a group of 9, and there was plenty of clues to work on for our large group. It was a nice way to celebrate my birthday together. We would recommend Great Scott Escapes, and we look forward to doing another one in the future.
This was our first escape room experience. We went with a group of friends and did the serial killer room it was a blast. It was difficult at times and really made you think outside the box but we escaped with only a minute spare. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms.
Ben and audrey were great and we had an amazing time. The escape room really made you think, but we were able too solve it with a few seconds left for it being our first one.
Our families first time doing an escape room and we had a blast. We did the Muggsy Marlow Room and it was challenging but not to the point where it wasn’t fun. Highly recommend. Ben did a great job getting us set up and keeping us on track throughout the game!

This was the first escape room experience for everyone in our group. It took us some time to get the hang of things, but once we did we had so much fun! Would definitely recommend it as a fun group activity.
We do a bunch of escape rooms and are pretty picky. We saw the reviews and were thinking that there was no way a local place could match the big name escape rooms that are all around the country but boy were we wrong. We did the serial killer room and our whole family had a blast. Great challenges and an even greater host (Ben). We hope to come back sometime and play their other rooms.
I've been to a lot of escape rooms and this was a great experience! The room and puzzles were awesome and Ben was great going through everything after. We'll definitely be back to check out the other rooms!
Took my family here and had the BEST experience!! We will be returning again. The rooms were so well done and worked so well for my family. We as a family of five were able to escape both rooms with minutes to spare. Melody was so welcoming and made the whole experience that much better. She made it so fun for my children and helped us through with such enthusiasm!! Best experience at an escape room we have ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone!
We did the Serial Killer escape room. It was very challenging and really well done. The host explained things very well before we ventured off to the room. Hints are available, if needed. It was a lot of fun! There are 3 different escape rooms available. We will definitely be back to do another room!
CHRIS, was our game master and he was probably the best game master I've had so far out of all the other places I've been. This was our groups first time going there and we all had a blast. Fun, entertaining, and it kept you on your toes the whole time trying to beat that clock. The thought, decor and sound effects put into the story line was awesome. We will be back soon! I had a blast! Serial Killer was very well thought of. It was very challenging with just me and one other person so I recommend doing this with 6-8 people because the puzzle itself is complex and difficult. Nonetheless I had a great time and I will do all 3 of these before the summer ends. Thanks Great Scott Escapes!!!!
Great Scott Escapes is such a fun escape room. I 100% recommend. Ben was the nicest guy ever, we did the serial killer one and it was super cool. Mysterious and really interesting. It really makes you start thinking.
Tons of unique areas, thematic puzzles and Ben was a great guide. We managed to escape with 4 seconds left! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to challenge themselves

A lot of detail and care went into the serial killer escape room that I had for my son and his friends for his birthday party. They had a great time!! Will definitely be going back, but this time I’m going to do it with him!
Had the best time ever playing “Bugsy” !! My husband and I got it just in time and had so much fun. Our game master was so helpful and kind! Super friendly & family oriented!! Recommend 10 times out of 10! We will absolutely be back!!
This is an awesome place to go to do an escape room. We have done 2 of them so far. The owner was our game master for the first one and Chris and his son were the game masters for the second. All of them were so nice!
I took my fiance for his birthday. It was our first time with escape rooms, and we immediately felt welcome and special. The whole experience was creative and fun, we will definitely be going back.
My husband planned a surprise birthday day for me this weekend, starting with this escape room. Now, we are escape room snobs with 25+ rooms under our belt, so we are picky on a good room. This was the first ever murder mystery room we'd ever seen or done, and it was SO immersive!! No spoilers, but I've never had asking for a clue literally be like it was part of the game itself. The room was so much fun, my friends and I had a blast with it.. and yes, we escaped 😎 one of the best in the entire Pittsburgh area!!
Super in character, wonderful game master. Room made sense and everything worked but was far from easy. I've played 20+ rooms and my wife is on 30+. We both agree that this one is definitely in the top ten at a minimum.
The Christmas theme escape was wonderful for our group of 8 average people age ranged from 15 to retired. Everyone was able to play a crucial part in making progress and it was thoughtful and detailed but cute enough to entertain all ages.
We had a very enjoyable experience! We did Serial Killer. The room and props were extremely detailed and well thought out. There was a wide variety of clues and puzzles which made the room challenging and fun. Would 100% recommend.
These rooms were AMAZING!!! So detailed and well thought through. Kathy was one of my all time favorite gamemasters and I've done quite a few escape rooms.You won't regret your visit!

My husband and I stopped by and did the serial killer puzzle today. It was a ton of fun and puzzle filled. Melody was our game coordinator and she was so helpful and made the game great! Absolutely recommend!!
Harder than expected. Had a great time for brothers 18th birthday. Will be back for the other rooms they offer in the future. Also got a great deal at Carson’s with the 15% off we received from showing our reservation print out.
If you enjoy challenging and suspenseful activities this is for you!! Kathy was kind, helpful and useful! The price is reasonable also. It was $25.00 a person for an hour in the room. The location was convenient and parking was easily found. Lots of restaurants near by within walking distance! Kathy didn't rush us or hurry us along either! after we "blew"up aka lost, she came down and explained to us what we did right and wrong! We was so close!!"The" suspect was even helpful with a little sarcasm lol 😆. I highly recommend this activity!! Thank you Great Scott Escapes for having us!! We enjoyed every part from scheduling to us showing up! It was what I call an smooth sailing!! Until next time keep challenging these people! Y'all deserve more than 5 stars 🌟

Excellent Escape Room! They were so accomodating, meeting us on a day and time that worked for our schedule. We got to do the Bugsy murder mystery room and had a blast! Cathy came in on her day off to be our game master and she was amazing! We will be back to solve the other room as well!

These two adventures were among the best escape rooms we've ever done! The production quality was top-notch and created an immersive experience. Puzzles were the right level of challenge and a lot of fun. The owner was very friendly (and was also a great clue-giver). Worth the trip!
First time ever doing an escape room and it was a blast! The production quality blew us away, it felt like we were actually in the hotel! The clues were exciting and kept the experience moving, while throwing some curve balls in our way. We escaped with 43 seconds left! I will be back to do the other room! I highly recommend this experience
Brought a small group of school students and we all had a blast! The story of Who Killed Bugsy Marlow was detailed and the room was decorated so well. The puzzles were clever and challenging and getting clues through the phone was fun. Thanks so much for a great time, we all loved it!
We were passing through the area and weren’t able to book in advance like you typically do. The owner was VERY accommodating and helpful to our family (we were able to start the room at 4:30 instead of posted times of 4 or 5.) The room was very well designed with a good story line and the puzzles were challenging, but solvable. Great family activity!!

We did the Who Killed Bugsy Marlowe room as a group of five and we all loved it! The puzzle is well thought through and there are plenty of clues to find and assemble. We got out with six minutes left and enjoyed every moment of it. Highly recommend!
This was my first escape room and I'm hooked. The room was laid out perfect and felt like we stepped right into the crime scene. The objective was tough but we made it out just in time! I can't wait to try the other rooms when they're available.
